From great art comes poetry

Midnight in Chicago

“3 Musicians” by Pablo Picasso

Picasso knows what he’s doing

He sees people as objects

And we call him crazy

But so do we

3 Musicians are in shapes

Performing geometry like a dream

We think it’s nonsense

But so are we

He always paints what he sees

3 Musicians playing on the street

Appearing to have a good time

And we call them crazy

But so do they to we

They’re stuck in boyish colors

Standing still frozen in our dreams

He tells their story somehow

And we feel inspired

But are we really?
